Getting to Paris by bicycle from Paris CDG airport
Roissy Tourist Office has set up this bicycle path in order to connect Paris and Charles de Gaulle airport. This path is used mainly by foreign bicycle tourists arriving at Roissy CDG and by air crews stopping over at CDG.
Indeed, every summer, Roissy Tourist Office welcomes bicycle tourists (Americans, Swedes, Germans, etc.) trying to find their way from Roissy to Paris by bicycle. Airline pilots are very fond of the bicycle route from Roissy. And, it was a TAM pilot who beat the record for Roissy to Paris by bicycle, completing the journey from Roissy Tourist Office to Porte de la Villette in 1:20 mins.
Stage 1: Getting to Roissy-Village from Roissy CDG airport
You arrive at the different terminals 1- 2 or 3: Take the CDGVAL with your bicycle. Alight at stop PR (between terminal 1 and terminal 3). Make your way to Roissy en France (see route on Google Maps) Stop at Roissy Tourist Office: we will give you a free copy of the Ile de France cycle path, as well as the map “Paris bon plan à vélo".
Stage 2: From the Tourist Office to the cycle path in Tremblay en France
Follow Allée des Vergers to the Hotel BB, take the cycle path which passes below the A1 motorway and which is surprising because it lies between two dual carriageways. At the Hyatt Roundabout, continue towards Parc des Expositions. Follow the D 902 A, this part of the route is the least pleasant part because the 3km are shared with trucks and cars (be very careful, the freight zone is not far away).
Stage 3: At the Roundabout for the Exhibitors' entrance to Villepinte Exhibition Park
Follow the cycle path. Cross the A 104 motorway by a bridge reserved solely for pedestrians and cyclists
Stage 4: From Tremblay-en-France Vert Galant to Paris
Follow the Ourcq Canal. Pure joy arriving at "Paname" at Parc de la Villette.
