At the launch of the architectural competition for the proposed golf course last spring, a dozen cases had been received in City Hall at Roissy. Three teams were selected by the municipality in view of their professional credentials and their expertise.

The firm selected is not his first attempt in this area! Golf Optimum specializes in the design, construction and renovation of golf courses, has authored numerous courses in France and abroad. The future golf of Roissy - some say one of the most beautiful in the area! - This include: an 18-hole course with ancillary facilities (driving range, putting green, chippinggreen) a golf academy (learning fun for all on a mini-golf holes 6) a clubhouse with a center of healing and relaxation (swimming pool, steam room / sauna, massage of the world, ...), a solarium lounge area / bar / restaurant / seminars and terrace with views down to the Green Valley, an area seminars and meetings, a cloakroom, a reception and a local caddy master.
250 parking spaces in the wake of the shooting (a sufficient number of places for regular users and the public of potential competition) center maintenance of golf. A mind « ecologic development » Concerning the rational management of water and energy, Golf Optimum already well advanced on this point by making maximum use of local water resources as the overflow for watering of the golf, to avoid drawing at most from the groundwater. Pools of rainwater are also included in the project. In the coming weeks, the municipality will work closely with developers to promote development "sustainable development" as solar or photovoltaic panels for the clubhouse.
The project should be finalized in late 2009 for opening in 2013.A golf in Roissy, a project that does not date from yesterday!
In the 1990s a golf course project at Roissy has emerged in the context of revising the Master Plan of the Ile-de-France, commissioned by the Prime Minister, Michel Rocard. It was common to find a way to preserve open spaces and avoid outlandish projects which we talked at the time as the Palais des Congrès du Val-d'Oise amid the farmland! Elected officials met in Mixed Economy Society (MES) and presented several projects including golf part. As what the good ideas have the hard life.
